Every day the briefing will be at 10:00 a.m after the breakfast, so you´ll need to prepare your luggage before to eat, after the breafing we will leave our luggage at the reception for our driver (please, ask at front desk to help you with that) then at 10:00a.m. we will be on the beach ready to go.

Everything will always be at the reception when we arrive in each hotel, and must be there when we leave. You can separate your small bags (with computers, and cameras) to go inside the car. Our gear and other equipment will have to go outside of the car. Please leave luggage at the reception.

This route is designed to be an intro into the amazing world of downwinders, where you can improve your skills and prepare for longer routes in the future. This path allows you to discover the Brazilian Northeast from a different perspective, with less waves and smoother, calmer waters.

Day 1 – Preá – Rancho do Peixe

Check in at Rancho do Peixe. We will have a team meeting at the beach bar at 4pm, then kite together to get to know the local conditions. This also gives us the opportunity to test the kites and equipment. At 7:30p.m. we will meet at the hotel restaurant for an amazing dinner. Rancho do Peixe is a truly beautiful beachside hotel spread over several acres with kite rigging area, bar, restaurant and swimming pool. This hotel was selected as a Tripadvisor 2015 Travelers Choice and a Condé Nast award in 2016. Rancho is 12km from Jericoacoara, a legendary end-of-the-earth town that is definitely worth a night or two on the front end of the trip.

Day 2 – Jericoacoara – Vila Kalango

Vila Kalango is full of surprises. It’s situated in front of the famous Duna Pôr do Sol, and has enchanted guests for many years. We’ll have breakfast and the morning briefing at 10:00a.m. We do this everyday because it is important to share the details of the route, the risks, and strategic stopping points. When the wind starts to blow we will begin our new route! We will leave from the beautiful beaches of Preá, passing the Pedra Furada and arriving at the Duna de Jeri.

Day 3 –  Tatajuba – Portal dos Ventos

Breakfast and morning briefing at 10a.m. in the hotel restaurant. We leave from Duna Pôr do Sol, passing Guriú and enjoying good waves on the high ocean. We will arrive at the charming Tatajuba beach, where we will enjoy the sunset and have dinner together at 7:30p.m. at Zezinho’s place.

Day 4 – Check Out

Closing of the program and check out at Portal dos Ventos. Enjoy your last moments with us, with the wind in your hair and the sand in your feet, reflecting on the special moments in your life and all to be grateful for. This paradise awaits you.
